NAG FASTMAN (High Speed Steel) Taps
are available in three different styles which can be used
individually or in combinations depending on the application.
Roughing Taps
Provides full diameter thread and has 5 taper leads.
Finishing (Plug) Taps
Provides full diameter thread and has 3½ taper
leads. Finishing taps are the most commonly used taps
for tapping through holes.
Bottoming Taps
Provides full diameter thread to the bottom of blind holes
since tap has only 1½ lead threads.
